When I stay in Houston I stay here not because it's the best room but because of the staff. They genuinely care for their clients. You're always greeted with a warm smile and a kind word. If you ask for anything, these people listen and try to make it happen. Best staff in town.

Marriott brands are always my favorite because I know what I am getting and the service is great. They were exceptionally friendly at this particular Marriott. The rooms were nice, the same basic courtyard layout. They will give you a double bed at the Marriott even if you book on priceline. Self parking was 15 bucks which is a bit higher than others in the area but the garage is very close and uncrowned. Sometimes you have long walk from your car to your room but not the case here. An interesting note is that there seem to be a lot of popular clubs nearby. I was here on the weekend and saw lots of girls dressed up pretty skimpily and the crowd at thr hotel was pretty young. Only downside that I can think of is that the hotel is kinda hard to find.

My husband and I have stayed here over the Christmas holidays for many years and have always had a positive experience. The staff is friendly and quick to correct any problems that may arise. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with kitchenettes. Breakfast is good with cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, as well as hot eggs and potatoes and waffles. While located close to the hustle and bustle of The Galleria, this hotel provides a peaceful retreat.
