The biggest problem this hotel has is its location, apparently the airplanes use it as a landing beacon and land or takeoff about 200 feet above the hotel and you can hear every one excellently and if you are an airplane buff probably distinguish the diffrent planes according to the noise they make or their belly markings....

that said, the hotel is top notch, the rooms are big, well equipped, clean, the staff is friendly and the beds comftarble.
all said i wont stay here again because of the noise...

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The rate was only $89 for a Saturday night. It is a new building and was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was pretty good and had fresh fruit and waffles. The drive to the car rental return building was straightforward and close.

The room had a horrific sewer gas and urine smell and smeared, greasy dresser and table tops. The carpets felt damp and I was almost overcome by the smell coming out of the bathroom sink drain. Not the hotel's fault but it sounded like the airport was using JFK Boulevard as a secondary runway all night.

My husband and I stayed here prior to an early flight going back home to Detroit. We had been in Houston for about a week. We had a king suite, which was very spacious.This is a better than average hotel, very clean, excellent staff, good airport location. With that being said, keep in mind that in is very close to the airport, in a somewhat industrial location, and not near any good sit down restaurants. There is only a gas station, Taco Bell, and Jack in the Box close by. We had to drive several miles to find a decent restaurant. But, the hotel is less than one mile to the Houston car rental return, and airport. They offer a Manager's happy hour and full hot breakfast, which was appreciated as we had an early flight. There was some noise from the planes, but that is to be expected. I would plan to stay here again, due to the proximity to the airport.
