We stayed here while i was on a project in Houston and my wife was expecting our second baby, considering her situation we asked for a room on the ground floor which was a good and a bad decision.....good because the first night we checked in the fire alarm went off and everyone was asked to evacuate and if we were on higher floors we would have to use the stairs all the way down as you are not suppose to use the Elevators if its a fire related emergency, so anyhow i was happy that my wife did not have to go through this and we just walked out of our room and came outside......but staying on ground floor also mean a lot of noise, also the housekeeping staff did not know how to speak a word of english and it was hard to communicate with them, my wife has asthma problem and dust usually agrevate it and i noticed a lot of dust on the fake plants that were in the room and on the sides of the windows.
You have to pay for parking which i did not like as i was a long term staying guest and my company reimburse me for the parking charges during the week but not for the weekend.
I liked the fact that they had indoor pool which my daughter enjoyed alot and no matter how how hot it was outside or if its raining, we would be comfortable in the pool, also they offer free breakfast which is quiet nice and in the evening from Mon - thu they have a social hour where they offer complimentary snacks and drinks for all the guests, the snacks were sometime soo good that after having that we would not eat dinner.
Also this hotel is walking distance to the Galleria Mall so that was a bonus.
Overall a good hotel at a great location but he front desk staff did not take any action on any of our complaints and did not seem to care as much although we stayed there for soo long that my daughter started calling that place her home.

We stayed for 4 days in Dec/Jan, we had a 2 room suite with fold out sofa, we had 2 adults and 2 kids, which is ok if your kids don't mind sharing a bed. The room was modern and clean and the kitchen was a bonus. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. The location was great for shopping at Galleria, which is a fantastic shopping mall. The restaurant next door "Tango Malbec" was really lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights in late December. 3 kids, 2 adults. Enjoyed the indoor pool, and had a decent meal for breakfast each morning. Dinner was offered too - we had mini-pizzas one night which was perfect for the kids. Close to shopping and in a good central location for visiting our friends all over Houston. Staff was absolutely wonderful the entire time which is the main reason I will plan to stay here again. I only rated a 4 instead of a 5 because I save the 5's for more 'upscale' hotels.

I was a little surprised that they started charging for parking, when they didn't last year. Also, the sign in the garage says that parking is $14 per night, but they insisted on charging me $15. Just a small thing, but annoying. Also, I am thankful that the room had four coffee cups in it, since three of them still had food residue on them...obviously not cleaned properly after the last use. Makes you wonder what else they did not clean. I am a Hilton HHonors Gold VIP member, but I had to ask twice for the bottled water that is supposed to be included in the room for loyalty level. For a hotel that is pricing itself as upscale, they are not delivering upscale services. There is a Sheraton Suites down the road that was offering a similar room, minus the kitchen (a suite), for about $100 less a night. I think I will stay there next time.
