We booked this hotel because of the great reviews that it received on TripAdvisor. We pulled up to the hotel and it looked scary to say the least. Very shady and across from the G Cabaret. We were so put off from the outside and the types of people staying there that we left and forfeited the money that we had already paid for the room. There is no way I would stay there. To be fair, I never walked in the room so I don't know what it looked like. I didn't care. Bad, bad area of Houston.

This is a GREAT place to stay! The great pricing and friendly service is something that you don't normally find in this area. We are from about 60 miles away and needed two rooms for our family before an early morning flight the following day. The people that run this place are so nice and helpful. We enjoyed the good breakfast before departing and were shuttled to and from the airport as well as being able to leave our vehicles there while we were gone. The kind gentlemen that shuttled us back and forth from the airport would not even take the tips that we offered him and we had alot of luggage and double stroller as there were 5 adults and 2 small children. We do not normally stay at Day's Inns but we will ALWAYS stay here in the future and will recommend them to everyone.

This was our first trip to Houston and picked this motel arbitrarily as it was near the airport. However, we liked it, and the staff, so much that upon our return to Houston we booked it again. The only problem was access to restaurants, but with a car that was not as big a problem.

We spent one night on Jan 7, 2012 before a cruise out of Galveston. Nice, large room, with separate sitting area, very clean. Great free breakfast consisting of waffles, eggs, toast, juice, coffee, ect. We will definitely stay here again.
