Our stay at this hotel was awesome. We visited Houston for business and needed to visit many locations to look at some properties. The hotel staff was superb: they were so accommodating in helping us with directions that saved tons of time for us to do it on our own (in addition we were not familiar with Houston). The surrounding area is full of dining and shopping, major Houston Mall Galleria was just 15 minutes away. Overall, very nice experience with service and accommodations. We will definitely return and stay here when in Houston!

I stayed at this hotel for one night in May while traveling for business. I was only there for one night however it didn’t seem like there was much around this hotel as far as restaurants or shopping. There was a Denny’s nearby but that was all I saw. A co-worker was staying at a different Hilton and we went over to her hotel where there were tons of restaurants to choose from.

When we arrived check-in was quick and easy and everyone was very friendly. When I got to my room I was extremely disappointed as the strong stench of cigarette smoke hit me as soon as I opened the door. I called down to the front desk and asked for a non-smoking room and was told that they were completely booked for the night. I guess the person at the front desk could tell how upsetting this was to me because he said he’d see what he could do. Five minutes later he called back and said he did some “rearranging” and found a non-smoking room. He personally came up to my smoking room and walked with me down to the non-smoking room. It was so much better and I was so grateful that he was able to accommodate me with a non-smoking room.

Once my room was changed I was very happy with it. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a card on the bed that said it could be adjusted to make it soft or firm however I wasn’t able to find the dial to do this adjusting. There was also a chair, footstool and a desk. There was a nice flat screen TV as well.

Toiletries were really nice and consisted of Neutragena lotion, shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean.

When we came back from diner the front desk had fresh cookies available which was a nice touch. I did not eat at the onsite restaurant but the breakfast looked good. They do not offer a continental breakfast.

When I arrived home I realized I left the cord for my cell phone in my room. I called the hotel and sure enough they found it. They said they could ship it to me. I asked them to ship it the cheapest way possible. Well, I guess they didn’t hear the word cheap because they shipped it next day air, which cost more than the cord was even worth. But, it was nice that they took the time to ship it to me, and I was glad to get it back.

I would recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness and comfort however I’m not sure it’s in the most convenient location.

Everything was excellent! All the staff was incredibly sweet, helpful, and out going.

The hotel is a great property the staff is awsome very helpfull. When I travel to Houston again I will stay there.
