If you're going to Houston and need a good starting base, which is warm and homely and with good facilities - kitchen, washing-machine/dryers, tv room and friendly help at the desk, you can't do better than this. it's in a great location, too. I went recently, on my own, when you need some 'home' in a big, new city and found the people there a delight.don't bother with the impersonal hotel scene - you can get a private room at the hostel if you want, and prices are great, but the friendliness is worth its weight in gold!
