This hotel must have great managers to have such a smooth operation. Quick check in, clean rooms, full breakfast (with pancakes!), no noise and a great direction givers! Will definitely stay here on my next visit to the texas medical center!

If you going for an event at Reliant Park, this is a good hotel. There's only one strip plaza between the hotel and Reliant. Stay here for what is close to it - Bank of America, Target, 2 grocery stores, Chipotle, Sonic, 5 Guys, Olive Garden, all right outside the hotel entrance. Beds are a bit on the hard side, breakfast is typical continental, staff is friendly. Quiet, no exterior noise. The hotel does not face the road or anything so there are no "window views." I would stay here again. If coming from the airport, make sure the cab takes you to the correct Holiday Inn. There's two others within 2 miles radius.

Great room, convenient to medical center, good breakfast.

Chek in clerks could not have been more friendly, making sure that we were all set up with directions to the Rice Village area for restaurants and with a validated parking pass.

Getting rooms facing away from Main Street is essential in having a quiet room with no sounds of sirens. In addition to a quieter room, you get to have views over to Rice University and away from the Medical center buildings.

Hotel is within walking distance of Rice University (beautiful campus) and the nearest tram stop as well as great museums.

Walls between rooms are pretty thin and we could hear neighbors' loud conversations. Our neighbor fell asleep with his TV on and we could hear it blaring at 1:30 AM (when called, the front-desk were very prompt in calling the room and ensuring the TV was turned off).
