1. Breakfast & Dinner
Free hot breakfast is included and they also serve dinner on weekdays. The selections are nothing special, but I didn't expect a fabulous buffet in the first place so the breakfast & dinner was just fine with me.

2. Exercise facility
The exercise room was VERY small and the equipment was very limited. I didn't use it, but they have indoor pool which seems very nice.

3. Self service laundry
As far as I know, there was only 1 self laundry room in this hotel with only 2 washing machines and 2 clothes dryers. Sometimes both machines were in use or someone's clothes were still there.

4. Room
Kitchen and a fridge are nice and room was spacious. No flat screen TV.

Most Homewood Suites I stay at are very nice, but my original room here had been slept in and not cleaned, bed was not made and TV was on when I entered the room. I got another room and an apology from the desk clerk, but I have been traveling for my job for 12 years and can count on one hand the number of times this has happened.

Also, this hotel did their internet access upgrade on the cheap with no Ethernet in the rooms, just WiFi that had a weak signal that ebbed and flowed due to it being over used and not enough bandwidth to go around. I see this in a lot of older hotels who have added internet access after the fact and did it cheaply as possible. I can't watch streaming video and large file downloads that I need and use for my job take forever. For what I am being charged for the room I expected much better.

This is a nice hotel choice on the west side of town. The furniture is a little dated but overall the rooms had a nice lay out.

I am a platinum with Marriott so straying away takes a lot, but the Residence Inn down the road on Westheimer is just plain awful. Thus, I gave this place a shot since it literally is right across the street from my office. What a difference!
Rooms are recently renovated, furniture is clean, water is hot and bfast and dinners are wonderful. I will choose this place from now on over the Residence Inn for my twice a month trip to Houston. SORRY MARRIOTT!
