We spent 3 months here. It became just like home. This property is a little older, but still good. I found the food was a little better than most extended stay places (breakfast and evening meals and drinks). The staff did not have much information about anything outside the immediate area, but were willing to spend a lot of time looking for information. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and get to know the area. They are a big fan of kids. They also helped us get a good rate on our next location.

This location in the southeast of Houston is good location for business in the area and the space center, but not very close to anything in Houston.

This was my second stay in a Homewood Suites--to be fair the first one was a brand new property and so very gorgeous......so a true comparison to an established property is difficult. The 1B suite was spacious and comfortable vs. a standard hotel room--really nice having the full-sized refrigerator and the microwave. The living room furnishings looked nice and were comfortable. The bed is starting to show it's age--the pillows and bedding were lovely, but the bed doesn't have much support anymore. When we saw the close proximity to railroad tracks and a main road, we were a little concerned about noise, but we did not hear a peep the entire stay--not even a toilet flushing in another unit--VERY quiet. The bathroom is also starting to show age and I had to clean something dried on from the commode handle upon arrival. The common areas are lovely and the hot breakfast was very tasty and plentiful--Reggie--who was the breakfast staff member, was very friendly and attentive to everyone--he does a wonderful job. Our checkout was friendly and fast too. The young man at the desk upon arrival could work on his eye contact, smiling and people skills a bit. There are lots of restaurants close by and we found a more direct way to the Kemah Boardwalk area after making the mistake of taking the 'not so scenic' tour the long way around. All in all, a comfortable stay for a good price for this area. Also, the little bottle of conditioner had obviously been partially used already and was back up with the new little bottles of toiletries.

We stayed here for one night before we set sail on a seven day cruise out of Galveston. This was a great location since it is near many restaurants and shopping. It is also a short distances to our cruise ship in Galveston. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast great and service with a smile! Hilton is two for two recently. I chose Hilton over Marriott after my last experience. So, Hilton gets my business tomorrow night due to a business trip.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of a family vacation. The rooms were huge and well appointed. They seemed brand new but we think a recent remodel. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was very good. 10 minutes to everything around the Space Center with lots of restaurants nearby.
