A great location in the shadow of the SW Frwy and Beltway 8, so very good access to major roadways in and around Houston. The hotel driveway is a little hard to find; it is the entrance just before the Medi-clinic (which you cannot miss) off of the feeder road.
The room had a complete kitchen, love-seat, coffee table, desk, flat-screen tv, and very comfortable queen sized bed. The large bathroom had an extra wide door and grips in the shower/tub, with plenty of counter space.
Half of the value of this place has got to be the full-on self served breakfast. It begins with an assortment of 3 juices (apple, cranberry, orange), yogurt, danish, white & wheat bread for toast, bagel with cream cheese, cold cereal selection, scrambled eggs, self-made waffles, coffee, milk and an assortment of fresh fruit (i.e. apples, bananas, oranges). If you cannot find something to eat here, you cannot be helped. USA Today available in the lobby. Small self-serve cookies available in the lobby the afternoon before.
The room was much better than a much higher priced property located in downtown Houston. My friends moved there as it was pre-paid (non-refundable) and much closer proximity to the Verizon Wireless music venue. However, none of the amenities at more than double the price. For my dollar, I'll stay at the Comfort Inn Southwest
