Stayed here while on business in North Houston. If you have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inn properties, then you would agree this is probably "average". It's a little bit older property, so things - while not necessarily dirty or in poor visible condition - were a bit dated and not in the best working order. My sink was slow to drain, the bathroom and closet doors wouldn't stay open - had to prop with a card or close altogether. The look and feel were getting a little bit tired, but again, not dirty - the hotel was ok altogether. Typical Hampton fare for breakfast although they did make the eggs a little bit different - had some chopped ham or something in them, but the rest was like the other Hamptons. The staff was friendly and helpful, although they couldn't produce any postage stamps at all when asked. Everything was average - the price was pretty good and the location was decent for North Houston - pretty much by the NW corner of I-45 and 1960. But the surrounding neighborhood was not too nice, I went to the McDonalds close by but hurried back to the hotel. I probably would stay closer to IAH and drive a few extra miles next time.
