We chose this hotel because it was less than a mile from our destination. It turned out to be adjacent to a large mall and local restaurants, so it was also super convenient for those things, as well. It is a little elusive (tucked in the trees next to the mall, but the website and confirmation email were very clear about how to find the hotel, and we had no trouble...plugged the mall address into the GPS and found the hotel as described: across from Sears and next to the Homewood Stes.

We were greeted by friendly staff (and experienced helpful and friendly staff the whole time).

Everything was super clean and neat. The room was comfortable (2 queens with nice pillows and linens, not skinny old double beds with marshmallow pillows and scratchy coverlets). Good lighting, wireless, big flatscreen LG TV, HOT showers, etc.

The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean and set up with nice seating and tons of towels.

The breakfast included eggs, sausage, and French toast sticks, along with the standard made-to-order waffles, huge variety of cereals, yogurts, juices, bagels, etc. The muffins were a cut above the standard: blueberry crumble and carrot-raisin muffins. They used compostible plates, cups, and utensils (though I'm sure they went into the trash since there wasn't a separate bin to throw them into).

Didn't hear any outside or hall noises at night. All in all a comfortable stay. Now if they would just put in a small fridge and mic!

It took me more than 30 minutes to find the hotel, despite the fact that I had the exact address with me. No sign posted on the street, no hotel name visible from the car way. I finally stopped at the lobby of another Hilton hotel. and I got their directions. When arriving at the lobby of the Hampton Inn , the agent just told me it was not allowed from them to post any sign visible from the street. It did not believe this poor explanation, another hotel next door has large signs visible from the street. In a nutshell, it was my problem not theirs. I stayed in more than 100 hotels in the US and never had such a problem before.
Good place if you want to play hide and seek, and if you have plenty of time to waste after a long flight.

My 4 month old and I stayed at this hotel while my husband was in Houston on business and it was a GREAT place! The pool is super warm so it was great to take her swimming and she never got cold. The rooms are very nice with updated bathrooms and home touches - Hooks where you would have them in your home, comfy mattresses and fluffy duvets and pillows. NO scratchy sheets or "sex" blanket covers. The free breakfast is excellent and the staff were mostly great - The only complaint we had was the cleanliness of the rooms. It was like they started cleaning but then forgot to finish areas. Other than that - Fantastic stay and super location too.

I travel frequently to Houston and have stayed at the Hampton Inn Willowbrook 10 times in the past year. The property is typical of what you would expect from the updated Hampton Inns - new decor, small but efficient rooms, great bed, free breakfast. The staff at this hotel is excellent - same people all year. Very friendly and go out of their way to help. Whenever I ask for advice of food or shopping they offer options, print out maps, or make calls to find out my answers. Its also is a great location - a parking lot of a large mall. There are probebly 25 resturants within 1/2 mile, many you can walk to. I will continue to stay at this hotel and recommend it to my co-workers and clients.
