This hotel was under construction during my week long stay in January. There was no mention of this on their website or reservation confirmations. For half of the week you couldn't walk out the front door or to the front desk. I was placed in a room on the 3rd floor and immediately upon entering I noticed the strong paint fumes. I went back downstairs and explained the problem and asked if they could switch me. The staff member rudely informed me that all floors have been renovated and they received the okay to place people on that floor. I asked if they were all painted at the same time and she said no the third floor was the most recent. Duh! She finally switched me to the fifth floor which was renovated earlier and had no paint smell. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was below the typical Hampton inn standards. I normally love staying at Hampton Inns for business travel, but this one was a dissapointment! Once the renovations are complete I do believe guests would have a more enjoyable stay.

This hotel was under renovation, knowing that prior to reservation is important. The service at check in was FAR below par. No water, no thank you...Once I went up to my room the keys didn't work. After getting new keys I get to the room and see its a double bed room. I reserved a kind bed. I called the front and they promptly told me sorry were sold out without regard to what I reserved for accommodating a diamond member. I asked if they would check with the manager. a couple minutes later i get a call, "whats your name" after giving them my last name they hang up which was extremely rude. Once they called back I was put on hold while they seemed very disorganized. I then told them I would keep the room, as it was to much trouble. The next morning there was no invoice or newspaper under the door, so while rushing out of the hotel I had to wait for them to print out a copy. Service and disorganization was extremely disappointing, and made question my loyalty to the Hitlon brand

I normally stay at Hampton inns when I travel and like how staff is friendly and caring. They greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave, I didn't get the warm friendliness at this location. Sometimes there wasn't anyone at the front desk. One lady was kind enough to print something for me since there was no business center. They were doing renovations on the lobby when I was there. The sign said they would be working from 8 am to 6 pm, workers were there well before and well after this time. Luckily I was on the 5th floor so I didn't hear anything. I wish that the website had informed me about the renovations before my stay, but there was nothing on there. Not every room received a newspaper everyday. I thought maybe it was just me, but I noticed other rooms that were occupied didn't get a newspaper either. My shower curtain was not long enough so the first time I showered I got water all over the floor. I do have to say that the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean and warm. I would probably stay again, after renovations were done.

We stayed at this property because of it's location to the medical center. We will be back because of the exceptionally clean rooms, plentiful breakfast, and outstanding service from the staff. The GM, Mike, even took time to sit and talk with us. We were treated like family by every staff member we came in contact with. If you are in need of a aplace to stay long term this property is the best choice.
