Stayed here for work -- love the amenities, even though I had to travel a bit to and from my client. Stayed on the renovated Hilton Honors floor -- what a delight. All the upgrades you would hope for. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Proper functioning heating & a/c. Comfortable bathroom and plumbing. Coffee service replenished each day -- no details forgotten. Housekeeping attentive and honest. Manager reception nice -- a decent assortment of beverages. The lobby setting soothing -- nice seating areas, including typical tables & chairs along with sofas and overstuffeds. Steve Keup the GM dropped by and we chatted -- professional and he actually cared about my opinion (rather than a quick smile and nod). Chef (at dinner) was proud of his work, and actually came by to see what I thought. A bonus: the mated pair of swans floating in the "brook" that winds its way through the lobby. How soothing after a long day of client focus. To the animal rights activists: they are safe and well treated, cared for with TLC. True, they aren't out in the wild -- but then again, their predators aren't in the lobby. A tradeoff I can easily live with.
Room Tip: I didn't notice any negatives.
