“Nasty Place”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2007

Checked in at the Sleep Inn and was informed that they charged extra to leave the car there - this infor not on their website. Lobby was dirty, housecleaning working in the halls at 5:00 p.m. Went to the room and discovered stained carpets, small rooms, an overall dirty feel to it. I immediately left and went to a nearby hotel ( many to choose from in the area) found a nice, clean , new room for the same cost and no charge for parking. SO GLAD I LEFT!! I don't think I would've slept a wink had I stayed.

“Icky and Overpriced”

We were booked into this hotel by Hotels.com; what a rip off! We had to cut our vacation short due to a death in the family and had made arragements to fly out the next morning so we needed a place close to the airport. The entire hotel is dirty. The heater/air conditioner made so much noise we had to turn it off. There was mold in the shower. The free continental breakfast was so bad we didn't even take anything; no fruit, juice, or anything edible. The price was high $80 + tax. The front desk person could not answer any questions about anything. If we could have gotten our money back we would have gone elsewhere. Do not stay here! There are many other hotels in the area.

“Dirty ... Dumpy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2006

We booked our stay on ParkSleepFly.com. The place was so dirty, stinky and broken down ... we could not even think of sleeping in the bed or staying overnight. We used the room phone a few minutes and checked out by 8:30PM! The clerk was not competent enough to print out our receipt.

“Dumpy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2006

Stayed at the Sleep Inn enroute to Mexico from Houston. The good first: the room was affordable, van driver was courteous and efficient. For the bad: the room had horrible flourecent lighting, bed was hard as a rock, decor looked liked it had not been updated in 20 years, carpet was dirty, complimentary breakfast was muffins, cereal, milk and juice--no fruit and no yogurt.
The only way I would stay again, is if the room was under $50.

“A good stay but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2003

I wrote the previous review for the Sleep Inn IAH. I stayed for my usual over night stop in March 2003, and I've just a couple of gripes.
The courtesy bus from IAH now stops at every hotel en route and runs pretty infrequently compared to other times i've visited. I was waiting for 25 mins for the courtesy bus to pick me up from the airport. Other local hotels, for similar prices, are now offering free internet access in all rooms. Still a good place to stay but could do with additional courtesy buses to and from the terminals.
