The location is great for central Houston and the River Oaks/Richmond/Montrose/Galleria districts which have the most attractions for tourists. The area felt safe.

The hotel itself is clean if a little dated, and the main corridor did remind a couple of our party of the corridors of the Overlook Hotel from the Shining! However, the rooms were spacious and included a fridge, microwave and TV. The bathroom is slightly cramped, but sufficient.

The breakfast felt a bit sparse, with not as many options as other hotels, and polystyrene/styrofoam crockery an plastic cutlery felt a bit cheap and nasty.

We did get a good rate though for a hotel this conveniently located though, so overall, not bad!

Chose for location for college bowl game at Reliant Stadium. Cost factor was primary priority for selection. New TVs, which worked 80% of time, air conditioning was antiquated-pooly maintained-simply did not work properly, and when the cockroach crawled up the wall to the demise of my grandson......that was it. Gone...will not be back to this one........

the stay was not as good as the other times. The only problem I had was that I needed a computer to check my emails and there was no computers there.
Breakfast was not as good the other LaQuintas I've been. As usual the Front desk were very nice and hospitable people.

We have stayed here several times when visiting Houston, for several reasons: convenient location near the museum district, Rice Village, good restaurants, and the freeway, reasonably priced, very clean and comfortable, with good amenities, including a microwave. Breakfast offerings used to be modest but are now expanded.
