The hotel is nice. Not a desirable location therefore you must eat/drink in hotel. Very overpriced restaurant, poor service. They spoke a lot of Spanish.

I have been there twice. Both times I found the hotel excellent. Rooms are ultra neat and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. Great service. Good food; you should try their chocolate mousse (AMAZING). Location is very close to shopping malls and airport. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend it.

Had the pleasure to stay at the Houston Marriott North on a quick business trip. Wonderful experience. Staff was professional and extremely pleasant. Hotel restaurant food was good. We had a newer server and she was not helpful, but I understand from frequent travelers there that the service is usually very good. All in all a strong recommendation.

This hotel may be in a bad area, but you wouldn't know it from the service and standard of hospitality in the hotel. The remodeled rooms are extremely comfortable. They have the perfect mixture of the lush bedding I'm used to in other Marriott properties and innovative decor that sets it apart from other properties. If I could improve anything in the room, it would be the selection of cable channels...I missed not having the Food Network.

The Concierge Lounge was amazing. The best I've ever experienced. The food was varied and abundant, and they had Dr. Pepper! The night host (wish I could remember her name) was amazing. She made every guest feel welcome, and even stopped to have a meaningful conversation with me. I think she exemplified the outstanding service that the Marriott brand represents.

I will definitely stay at this property again if I have business in the area.
