I book all of our companies travel arrangements. It is standard procedure to call after booking online and request a credit card authorization. Usually this is a simple procedure. I give the receptionist our fax number and within minutes I have the forms I need. Not this time.

First of all, this woman's accent was so strong that I did not know if she was speaking English at first. I requested the authorization and she asked me 'Why?.' I was caught off guard; why else would I need the form? I explained that our company had a guest staying at the hotel. She snapped 'What company?" I patiently gave her our company's name. She then went down a long list of questions: When did you book the hotel? Why isn't the guest using their own credit card? Why did we book the room online rather than calling the hotel directly? On and on and on. I was ready to call the whole thing off; I had never encountered a situation like this! A credit card authorization is a simple one page form, she was acting as if I was requestiong their financial statement. She sat silent for a moment and then said "Fine. I send it to you. Goodbye.'

If I hadn't gone to such trouble locating a hotel so close in proximity to our Houston office, I would have called back and cancelled. This may be the best hotel in the world, but in a customer based industry, a hotel is only as good as their first impression. If anyone from this hotel reads this site I have one suggestion for you: Hire a new receptionist.

I have never seen a more friendly staff before at any hotel. I would recommend this hotel to my own parents. The front desk staff was very curtious and never hesitated to answer any of my questions. I do remember this one young lady that just started there and i believe her name was Trish. She is the most sincere and honest person i have met in a very long time and I give her a great applause and I hope that she will go far in the hospitality industry.

Called to make a reservation and the lady was very rude. I am from out of state and when I hesitated while answering her questions (as I had to confirm with other people in my party) she started to yell. I booked it and then called back a little while later to cancel after reading terrible reviews and she yelled at me some more!

I can't even imagine how a stay in this facility would be considering the terrible experience when only talking to the staff over the phone. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and helpfulness.
