I had to come for Houston for work and this hotel was close to the office. I had never stayed her before and would never stay here again. While I was not expecting anything great based off the price, I was not satisified with what I got for what I paid. The lobby is nice. But the room was run down, mold in the bathroom, and an overall feeling of dirty. I stayed two nights. There was a small coffee maker in the room which would have been great had they given me any coffee. Only half a roll of toilet paper. No soap. I asked the front desk for these things the morning after my first night and they said they had been having issues with housekeeping and would make sure I got those items. Never got them. When I tried to check out and get a receipt I was told that the person working the desk didn't have a password to the computer to print one. I asked for a manager and none was there. This was around 8:45 am. They said they would email me the receipt. I provided them with email and never got one (this was a week ago). Seeing as how I never even got soap I didn't trust that they would email me a receipt so made the lady write one out by hand - which I hope my work will accept since the room was paid for with my company card. Breakfast was typical low budget breakfast... some donuts and bad coffee. The area of town is not good. Saw random people hanging out in the parking lot that were NOT staying at the hotel. Was a bit afraid my car would be broken into. Would never stay in this hotel again. Also in my room, one of the bedside lamps didn't work, one of the end tables by the bed was missing, and instead of a nice chair in the corner there were two dirty chairs set side by side. I was afriad to not wear socks on the floor. Did not see any bugs at least.

Thank you for your sincere opinion regarding your stay at our property. I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your stay. Many of the things you have mentioned are true and we were already working toward solutions. During your stay, we were switching our computer network and many of the staff had to be scheduled for training, thus the issue with the receipt. I hope that the solution our staff came up with was sufficient and if not, I'll be more than happy to re-issue you a proper receipt. We have updated most of our furniture and all of the guest room carpets. We are still in the process of updating many fixtures, even though the project is vast but we will complete in time. I'm sorry that you didn't find our room exceeds your expectation, I hope that if you do happen to be in the area next time, let us show you one of our newly remodeled rooms. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
