Their "smokimg" room was my only choice and the only hint of smoking was out in the hall. This place well exceeded my expectations. Nutritious breakfast options was also a welcomed surprise too. Kim printed directions for the day's trip. Thanks Kim!

True to the Hilton line of hotels, this Hampton Inn was very nice. The staff that checked us in was very kind and helpful, the room was excellent. The breakfast staff was very friendly and cheerful & the food choices satisfied the whole family. For a Saturday night, the occupancy seemed quite low (though I don't think Hillsboro is a destination for most, it is more of a stop during travel). Unfortunately, it seems the low occupancy might have been a factor in the hotel deciding to perform a deep cleaning on the pool. Ordinarily, we would appreciate that kind of cleanliness, but it rendered the pool unusable that evening which was a disappointment to our kids. Several nearby restaurants and an outlet mall made it a great stop on the way to the Gulf.

My Mom and I were recently on a road trip driving from Chicago to Austin, TX, and we stopped at several hotels along the way. On our third day we were exhausted as we approached Hillsboro and decided we would just find a place to stay. We arrived at the Hampton Inn with no expectations and it turned out to be BY FAR the best place we stayed over the entire trip! I travel around the world for a living so I am very familiar with hotels of all categories and I was so impressed with this property.
The hotel was clean, spacious and the rooms were extremely comfortable and filled with great amenities. There were lots of delicious and healthy snacks available in the lobby when we arrived in the late afternoon, as well as refreshing drinks, coffee and even sugar free hot chocolate!
We slept so well and the next morning I decided to head down to the fitness room for a little workout before breakfast. In the elevator, a staff member saw me with my yoga mat in hand and came in to move some of the machines so that I could have a nice big space. A few minutes later another staff member arrived with an ice cold bottle of water.
Breakfast was healthy, varied and delicious and the entire staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I kept smiling and thinking to myself "whoever is running this place really knows what they are doing".
I will make it a point to stay at Hampton Inns from now on-- and I encourage anyone to spend a great night at this spot!

Stayed at this hotel earlier this week. It was clean and in a good location. Drink station was available 24/7 and the staff was friendly. No complaints and I will definitely return if I am heading this direction again. Very roomy and had a stand up shower. Stayed free so I can't say about the value!
