We stayed at this hotel for one night during mid-December. The atrium is lovely and was decorated with a nativity scene for Christmas. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. I appreciated the extra space the suite provides, including the table and counter area with a sink. There was a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee-maker that could make 2 separate cups of coffee. However, we were only provided with a coffee package for one cup. So if you both want a cup in the morning before going to breakfast, you should check your supplies when you arrive. Having a flat-screen TV in both rooms was also a nice feature. We did utilize the sofa-bed, and I have to admit I’m not certain if there were clean sheets on it or not. I’m pretty sure it was just food crumbs that had fallen onto the sheets from the sofa, and we were way too tired to call down to the front desk. So I simply brushed them off and it looked fine after that. I also would have liked a better blanket to use on the pull-out bed. The room was otherwise very clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel was quite busy on the Saturday night we were there. This made for a noisy atrium until about midnight, which could be heard in the room and made getting to sleep before that time a little difficult.
The breakfast in the morning is very good. There is a buffet with scrambled eggs, fruit, oatmeal, grits, pastries, etc. There is also a separate line for made to order omelettes, pancakes, bacon and sausage. No waffles the day we were there. Our omelettes were excellent. They also had a face painter and a balloon artist in the breakfast area. We ate around 8:00 and had no trouble finding a table. As we were leaving, someone grabbed our table by placing their plates on it before we were even done standing up. Our friends waited until 9:00 to eat breakfast and couldn’t find a table. When we saw them they were about to go sit on a couch to eat.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel. In addition to its nice facilities, its location is very convenient to DFW Airport, Grapevine Mills Mall, the Gaylord Hotel and much more. I should also mention that all the staff members were courteous and helpful.
