This is the experience I had with the Hampton Inn Arlington at Six Flags.
01. When we got there, the elevators did not work. We waited over 5 minutes and had to walk up the stairs 4 stories to our rooms. And back down.
02. The bathroom did not have a strike plate on the door to secure the door. The door swung freely without the ability to even close.
03. The air conditioner unit did not work. We did not need the unit due to the cold weather, but would of enjoyed having it on for the noise. I looked for a thermostat and there was none. This unit was controlled at the unit itself.
04. Half the television channels were blurry due to a malfunction with the television or cable that runs to the television.
05. The soda vending machine did not work. It had an "Out of Order" sign attached to it.
06. The bed was hard. For the first time at a hotel, I experienced a sore back from the bed. The sheets were fluffy as advertised, but the mattress needed to be replaced.
07. The hotel looked and smelled run down.
08. The parking lot did not hold the amount of guest required at full capacity. I ended up parking at the IHOP next door. Did not feel safe having my car far from the hotel.
Out of the many Hilton brand hotels I have been to, this is the worst I have ever stayed at. I would not recommend this if you are staying at a Hilton brand hotel. There are nicer Hilton brand hotels close by and nicer than this Hampton Inn.
