“Better Hilton brand hotels close by than this. Worst stay ever with Hilton brand hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2011

This is the experience I had with the Hampton Inn Arlington at Six Flags.

01. When we got there, the elevators did not work. We waited over 5 minutes and had to walk up the stairs 4 stories to our rooms. And back down.
02. The bathroom did not have a strike plate on the door to secure the door. The door swung freely without the ability to even close.
03. The air conditioner unit did not work. We did not need the unit due to the cold weather, but would of enjoyed having it on for the noise. I looked for a thermostat and there was none. This unit was controlled at the unit itself.
04. Half the television channels were blurry due to a malfunction with the television or cable that runs to the television.
05. The soda vending machine did not work. It had an "Out of Order" sign attached to it.
06. The bed was hard. For the first time at a hotel, I experienced a sore back from the bed. The sheets were fluffy as advertised, but the mattress needed to be replaced.
07. The hotel looked and smelled run down.
08. The parking lot did not hold the amount of guest required at full capacity. I ended up parking at the IHOP next door. Did not feel safe having my car far from the hotel.

Out of the many Hilton brand hotels I have been to, this is the worst I have ever stayed at. I would not recommend this if you are staying at a Hilton brand hotel. There are nicer Hilton brand hotels close by and nicer than this Hampton Inn.

“Average with GREAT Employees”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 April 2010

Hotel as stated below needs updating. However you can not ask for better employee service. Shuttle service is great to both stadiums, shopping and resturants. Drivers will even go pick up an to go dinner for you or your group. Breakfast was just ok however the waffles can be made fresh and you can even add your own fresh fruit as in blueberries however you have to go to the local super market and buy. No refrig or micro in your room. Micro and hot coffee available 24 hours. Snacks served late afternoon-cookies. Fresh fruit is out in the business center. Walmart Super center right across from the new cowboy stadium. Good buys on Cowboy stuff if you a cowboy fan. Also good cheap selection of warm weather clothes for kids and adults. IHOP is right next door in case you want a real seat down breakfast. Good IHOP. Bad side is only 3 machines in the so called fitness room. The front desk indicated trying to get contract with local gym but so far none. No Movies are available at this hotel. Beds were great - as always with the Hampton. Pool not available even though the site said open. Small pool and would have walked outside to front of the hotel. Pool right beside the perimeter road- 360-watson. All in all I would probably stay here again if in town for business just for a couple of days but not for 1 week.

“Nice, clean hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2010

This hotel was the same as most other Hampton Inn's I have stayed at. The hotel is a little older, but is in good condition. The room and bedding were comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was very clean and there was a large selection, including waffles.
This hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and is in a convenient location to restaurants.
The fitness center was very small with only 3 cardio machines.
All-in-all, the room was a good value for the price.

“Surprise - a good find in a hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2010

On a last minute decision to travel to Texas for 3 days of family events, I booked the Hampton Inn as is was close to my cousin's home. A great choice. It was clean! (The room was a little smaller) . That was all I was looking for on this trip. I got much more! Another cousin booked a room for one night of my stay. We asked for connecting rooms. After the first night the front desk called to say that for us to have connecting rooms they would move me. Which they did. They gave us water, Frito, Cheetos, Doritos. And -some amenities that I had forgotten to pack. There is a breakfast each morning But if you are set on having something else like a 3 egg omelet there is IHOP on the property. They have a van to gather you to and from the airport...and anywhere for a 5 mile radius. (Also, if you are staying here and have cowboy game tickets the van will take you to the game and pick you up! Bonus!)

“Great Hotel with Super Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2010

We arrived at the hotel on New Year Eve. I booked the room in October. I requested a room far away from the elevator. Our room was one room away from the elevator. We went to the desk to see about being moved. Being that the hotel was full there were no more rooms available with King size beds.
We kept the room for the first night and we were quickly moved the following morning.
The hotel provides a continential breakfast each morning which is a nice added touch.
The hotel offers a FREE shuttle to the Cowboys staduim,. We signed up and we were driven to the stadium on game day and dropped off right across at the Walmart.
Getting back to the hotel after the game was another story.
We waited for the shuttle for quite awhile. There were three shuttles and about 120 people trying to get back to the hotel. Because it was so cold we ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel. The taxi cost us only $8.00. well worth the cost.
I would return this to this hotel in a minute. Its in a great location and the staff was very helpful at all times.
