Had the pleasure of visiting this hotel for 4th of July. My first impression is that it is somewhat old, not all shiny like the newer places. So what. I immediately noticed the grounds and landscaping, which is impeccably clean and well manicured.. Not a speck of trash or cigarette butts to be found. Upon entering the room, which was a double, I found it to be quite spacious and immaculate, with all the amenities one would want.. Next, to the pool I go, where I find a very inviting pool area. As a pool owner I know first hand the time and money which must be invested into maintaining the water for optimal enjoyment. Not a speck of algae or debris in this pool can be found. Perfectly balanced and chlorinated., and there were a lot of people in the pool. If the pool guy is reading this, your rock, dude. I find it quite difficult to find anything negative to report, but if I had to, then I would say that the kids in the pool were having too much fun. Forget that, let em be kids, ya dont like it stay somewhere else. Oh yea, the Plantation also has a huge commercial ice machine that pretty much stayed full, due to the fact that it is properly maintained. In conclusion, the maintenance and cleaning staff should be commended for their hard work and diligence they put forth in making this a truly wonderful place to stay.

This is the second visit to the Plantation Inn. We were very pleased with the price. The Inn is older but clean. The staff is very pleasant and we enjoyed the breakfast with waffles, sausage with biscuits and gravy. We will definitely return.

enjoyed my stay at the plantation . the staff was outstanding drew a map of places of things to do on the square which was the old fashion soda shop. great food . my room was very nice and clean every day i was there outstanding helpful the breaksfast bar was yummy

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The room was very clean, great service,and a good breakfast. I will be staying there again very soon. I would recommend it to anyone, without hesitation.
