This was my first time staying at a Comfort Suites. I was expecting something really really basic, so I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. The rooms are spacious (we were on a king bed room on the 3rd floor), the bathroom was very clean and the shower head was better than many 5 stars hotels I've stayed in the past.
The AC is a bit too close to the bed and a bit loud, our room faced I35 but we're able to fall asleep without a problem.
Internet connection is okay, the computers are the lobby don't have Windows programs like Word, for example.
I think the hotel surpassed my expectations, the price was not so good but this may be your best option in Georgetown.

The hotel does have a cool entrance/living room area. The front desk clerk was very unaccomodating when we arrived 1 hour before check-in and requested to check-in early. She didn't even check the system before saying she couldn't do it. When we did return, there was a different front desk lady that was friendlier. Our room was cute enough but there was some trash in the corner under the sink in the bathroom that had been left and some dead bugs in the light fixture in the bathroom as well. The beds are comfy and the internet access worked great.

A group of 4 Families with 7 kids between us all traveled to Georgetown to enjoy the last of Spring Break with our kids. Upon checkin at 4pm on a Friday afternoon we were told they had just put Chlorine in the pool. We had to await until 6 pm to let the kids swim. This pool is an indoor pool. The Cholorine smell was OVERWHELMING! We opened an outside door for ventilation. After we could not stand it anymore, we went to our rooms to order Pizza. The kids were in one room and we were next door. About 9:30 the front desk called us and said our kids were too loud. We sent an adult next door with them. They made NO MORE NOISE! within 30 minutes they called again and said they would have us evicted if we were not quite. There was also a wedding party in this hotel, with small children running up and down the halls. The clerk told us our kids were UNRULY.We went ot the Lobby to speak to the clerk and she threatened to call the Police and have us removed. She said we were intoxicated, our eye's were red. Hello! Step into the pool area, you will know why our eyes were red. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect. We had 6 rooms over a 2 day period in this Hotel and they were very rude to us. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HEATHER. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW GOOD THE HOTEL LOOKS, IF THE STAFF ARE DISREPECTFUL, ITS NOT WORTH STAYING.

We arrived after lengthy plane flights and found the first night virtually intolerable. The highway noise kept my wife up all night. The air conditioner was less than 6 inches from the bed and was extremely uncomfortable when it came on (no speed control). My wife wanted to get another hotel, but we had booked the vacation as a package with Expedia and feared a real problem was ahead. I went to the front desk to complain and was told I had to contact Expedia. We called Expedia and was told only the hotel could approve cancellations or changes. We waited for the hotel manager to arrive and complained to her. She said only Expedia could process changes or cancellations (you get the idea). We convinced her to at least give us another room away from the highway. Of course the air conditioner problem didn't change, so we had to turn it off in 102 degree daytime temperatures. To top everything off, the continental breakfast was absolutely the worse excuse for real food we ever witnessed in a hotel. The whole experience was excruciating. Stay here at you own risk.
