When we first entered, we found that our room had a musty odor. After leaving the door open for a few minutes, it was OK. Although the carpet looked as though it was vacuumed, it could use a shampoo. Breakfast included toast, muffins, orange juice and coffee. When we went down to have breakfast at about 7:30, only decaf coffee was available. Breakfast nook is very, very small---only 2 tables. We had to take our breakfast back to our room. The bath towels were not very absorbent, they were on their last legs. Our smoke alarm beeped because the battery needed to be replaced. It beeped once every 30-60 seconds. The front desk clerk said that the alarm can be sensitive after the shower is used. She asked us to disconnect the alarm. My husband removed the alarm from the ceiling to remove the battery to silence the beeping sounds.
In the middle of the night, my husband was awakened by a beeping sound. The alarm beeped even after the battery was removed. After placing the device in the refrigerator, it finally quieted down. We can laugh about it now.... If improvements are made, it would be a good place to stay.
