We just got back from galveston and stay at the days inn. We really love it. The workers was nice and the continal breakfast was good. Easy check inn and check out. Would love to stay there again.

We stayed during spring break, so even being one of the cheapest rooms on the island it was still $68 with my mothers AARP discount, regular walkin rate for a single king was about $80.

The location is actually not bad. It probably the most convenient location actually. You're down broadway from the seawall so you're nowhere near the ocean, but there is a target across the highway that's easy to get to if you need to get a couple things, and that store was nice and fast to get in and out of when needed.

When we walked in, the room smelled good and looked good. The sheets and bedding were very clean, and I felt completely relaxed and comfortable staying there. There was significant wear and tear that looked completely normal for an older motel room but it looked like it was cleaned properly and I didn't find it an issue. I woke up and felt very refreshed.

We didn't eat the breakfast, we went to IHOP. I went to check out at 8 am and it was crowded in the breakfast/check in area, so maybe you should think about eating on the run?

All in all, even though the price was a little higher than I'd expect from a days in, I was satisfied, and I thought the room was just as good as some Quality Inns and more expensive motels and I'm glad we stayed there.

My wife and i took our first cruise and arived in Galveston on Feb 4th after a 14 hour horrific drive through a blizzard which should have only taken 9 hours to drive. I found them on TripAdvisor and called and got a room for 2 for $50.55. After arriving I was happily greeted and checked in. I asked where a good seafood resturant and was given a map and shown where several were. After a breif discussion, we opted on KFC and went back to the room.

The room and bathroom were both clean and in very good condition. First thing we do is pull the sheets loose and look for evidence of bed bugs and found none. Mattress appeared new and clean. Continental Breakfast was included and better than average. Milk & Cereal, Danish, Toast, O.J. so on.

I would stay here again

We stayed here for 3 nights..July 9-12th and really enjoyed it we had no complaints what so ever!! Room was very clean, shower was too we even got to use a crib for our 16 month old which definately helped out alot. Pool was great wasn't always packed like other hotels. Cleaning peopl came daily and took our dirty towels to replace them with clean ones:)) Only bad thing was we didn't have a microwave which sucked but we made due, The air conditioner was serioulsy ice cold which is my taste lol i definately recommend you stay here if your on a budget and need a nice motel to stay in!!
