We stayed here on a Saturday night before a cruise on Sunday. It was a good price on Expedia. The Inn is non smoking which is what we wanted. We had 2 double beds; my husband got on the computer which was free internet. It was clean; had a small refrigerator and a small microwave. We used the microwave to make hot tea. The Hotel had a miniature golf course which some people enjoyed. I would stay here again anytime. The quickie breakfast was not my favorite, but they did have cereal and bagels.

We were passing through Galveston for a cruise. Due to a fog delay upon our return from the cruise we needed to find a hotel for the night. We ended up at the Inn at the Waterpark. They room was big enough for our family to fit comfortably (we stayed in the back building). The room had a fridge and microwave. There was free mini golf, and it was close to the waterpark and the Moody Gardens exhibits. The staff was very friendly and the kids loved it. It was a perfect ending to our vacation.

Before our cruise we stayed at another hotel along the seawall. Inn at the Waterpark was about $30 less per night then the other hotel. We were much happier at the Inn at the Waterpark. Also, the Inn at the Waterpark has free cruise parking and a free shuttle service. coulda, shoulda, woulda.....maybe next time.

was there first weekend of dec. i could not give half point, "very good" (4) is too much, but it is more than "average" (3) for me. the good things: 1) location. we went before cruise trip. a very good location, easy to find. close to attraction such as beach and water park, etc. but probably not a good location if you don't have car. 2) quite cheap. 3) room spacious. 4) has fridge and microwave
Not so good: a bit run down,esp the bathroom. old TV, showed some strange behavior every a few minutes.

I brought my two sons to the Inn for our Christmas Vacation. The staff here has been WONDERFUL and went out of their way to make our holiday special. My boys loved just hanging out at the hotel. We were in GREAT walking distance to Schlitterbaun and the awesome Winter Heated Indoor waterpark and enjoyed feeling like we were a part of everything happening at Moody Gardens. We loved the fact that we could break up our days at Moody Gardens with trips to Schlitterbaun and playing mini golf at the hotel.

I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a family and looking to enjoy Schlitterbaun and Moody Gardens.
