I brought my two sons to the Inn for our Christmas Vacation. The staff here has been WONDERFUL and went out of their way to make our holiday special. My boys loved just hanging out at the hotel. We were in GREAT walking distance to Schlitterbaun and the awesome Winter Heated Indoor waterpark and enjoyed feeling like we were a part of everything happening at Moody Gardens. We loved the fact that we could break up our days at Moody Gardens with trips to Schlitterbaun and playing mini golf at the hotel.

I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a family and looking to enjoy Schlitterbaun and Moody Gardens.

We arrived early for a cruise to Cozumel the next day. Nice hotel - all the basics, a little aged, but comfortable beds, friendly staff, free miniature golf, and free transportation to the port (about 10 minutes away). Free parking while you are on the cruise.

Our ship was very late docking the next day, due to fog closing the ship channel. No problem. We were allowed to delay our checkout until time to go (now early evening), with no extra charge, and use of the facilities until we left!

They picked us up from the port upon our return - again, no charge - and we headed home after being dropped off at our cars.

I cannot overstress how friendly and helpful the staff is. I would stay again in a heart beat.

I went here with my boyfriend and 4 kids ranging between ages 3 and 16. The rooms were your average hotel room, but it was nice to have the fridge and microwave, etc. We were also able to walk to Moody Gardens. The hotel had discount tickets to Moody Gardens that were cheaper than any other place we found. The breakfast was nice but crowded. The staff was helpful and kind.

On August 8/11 my husband and I planned a business trip, allowing a couple of days in Galveston, Texas.

To make a very long story short....$2660.00 was stolen out of our room!

It was reported to the Galveston Police, on 8/9/11, and assigned a case number..

However, since there was no proof.....this hotel was not held liable!

Hotel management acted indifferently, they treated us like we were the criminals!
