Rooms were clean but Found one bug in the tub & one on the bed. Located pretty far west on Seawall blvd so a little distance away from the action. Rooms have fridg & microwaves & a Wallmart close by for sundries. Over all it was ok except the 2 bugs.

Ok, the only bad thing I can say about this hotel is its location. It is a little far from the city center and restaurants if you do not have a car. Other than that, their kind approach encouraged us to extend our stay. Rooms are big, with comfy "soft" and "firm" pillows. We stayed in one of the rooms on the side and managed to see the ocean, and hear sound of the waves from our balcony (yes rooms have nice big balconies). Breakfast was really good considering the price we pay for our stay, plenty of pastries, waffle, good coffee and 4 hot dishes per day. This small hotel also has a laundry and a business center. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting galveston.

Normally we stay on the other end of Seawall Blvd. I really was impressed with this hotel and will definatly stay here again. It was very clean and the staff was very pleasent and helpful. We had a room that had the sofa. The beds were very comfortable hotel is kept very clean. Even though it was November the pool was still open and so were the hot tubs. They have two. They were not as hot as I would have liked but still pleasent to sit in. There was moderate road noise as we did have a gulf view. Loved sitting out on the balcony and taking in the fresh gulf breeze snuggled in a throw I brought with me. The one thing to note is that there is rocks and not sand beach in front of this hotel. The sand beach directly in front of hotels is further up the blvd. Wireless internet was very reliable and fast. I had no issues with it. The breakfast was average. They had the pancake machine that puts out fresh pancakes in two min. They had some other options but it wasn't the part of the day I looked forward to.

We only stayed one night at this hotel. We were very impressed upon first walking in. The lobby is very nice, as are the rooms. I like the balconies, even though ours faced random balconies. When we came back after going out to dinner, there was a roach in the bathroom. We were trying to work on homework and the internet connection kept going in and out every few minutes. When I took a shower the next morning, the design of the shower curtain caused water to flood the floor no matter what I did to try to help it. It appears nice, but it's not so great. The problems weren't bad enough for me to complain, but it was pretty annoying.
