“Christmas Time at Moody Gardens! What a treat!”

We had a wonderful time on our weekend stay in December 2011 at Moody Gardens. The had numerous children's activites throughout the day (Wii, holiday movies, arts and crafts, cookie decorating, bounce houses, etc.) Festival of Lights was a nice treat as well (just very cold that weekend). The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays with penguins, gingerbread houses, trees, etc. Rooms are very spacious and beds a comfortable. Will definitely return!

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking a courtyard facing the front of the property and had no noise problems.

It is our overriding goal here at Moody Gardens to provide the best in service and accommodations. We are so pleased you enjoyed your time with us over the holidays. Easter is coming soon! We will have some great things planned as well, petting zoo and a Easter Egg hunt. Kids Crew is ready to play will all the little ones! They have been wokring hard on new activities that I am sure will entertain all!

“Great convention place”

We went down for a RE/MAX convention this week end and it is a great place. The hotel reaslly did a great job.

I went to Moody Gardens for a business conference and stayed in the hotel as well. The business accommodations were excellent - conference rooms were spacious, food provided was excellent. As for the hotel, no complaints there either. The rooms were slightly dated, but everything was in working order and room had excellent amenities (robes, toiletries, Keurig coffee machine). I didn't get out on the grounds much, but it would definitely be a place I would recommend to families with the aquarium, rainforest, science expo and Schlitterbahn next door.

“It's own Oasis in Galveston”

A very nice resort close but not right on the gulf. An aquarium on the grounds & waterpark next door make it a family destination. A convention was here and the one bar was understaffed to handle the large crowd. Resort is very spread out so a lot of walking.
