I stayed here for ~5 weeks while my house was being repaired after major water damage. Under very stressful circumstances and really bad timing (right before Thanksgiving), I could not have asked for better service or accommodations. Services, staff and room are all excellent. The buffet breakfast (hot food and well balanced) spoiled me! (as well as being very close to my work... closer than my home) They have an evening meal Mon-Thurs as well as in-suite kitchen.
Facilities are clean and comfortable. I used the fitness room but it was too cold for the pool (although it looked really nice). They have a laundry room as well, which was handy since I was there for a long time.
Location is great. It is next to a major mall/ shopping area. That made my holiday shopping so much easier. As a long term resident, I watched business travelers come and go (the meals are a great way to see people). That wasn't too bad. The hockey tournament was a bit more challenging and I was glad to be moving out that week. Way too many teenage boys running up and down the halls and eating the entire pan of eggs in the morning! The fun options of earlier weeks were replaced by very basic food and plastic utensils.
Overall though, I will definitely consider Homewood Suites properties again.
Room Tip: upper floors are quieter.

Thanks very much for the review, my team and I are so glad you chose to call our hotel home during your home renovations. Major water damage paired with the busy holiday season certainly sounds like a stressful situation, and I’m glad we were able to make your stay with us a comfortable one.
I am sorry to hear you experienced some inconsistencies during the breakfast service while the hockey team was in-house. While we make every effort to provide a convenient and enjoyable experience for a wide variety of guests, occasionally, there are oversights which result in discrepancies like plastic utensils and “less fun” breakfast fare. Every guest should enjoy the best we have to offer – always – and I sincerely apologize that we missed the mark in this instance. I have reviewed this situation with my team to look for ways to ensure we are always putting our best foot forward.
