“Priority Club Travelers beware”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel in December and specifically booked a bonus point package of 10,000 points. We have contacted this hotel twice by phone and two times by email. It is almost one month later and still no bonus points.
The room was good, the front desk was friendly. However the hotel offers nothing to Platinum Priority Club members. I will NOT stay there again

“Fighting with Front Desk!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

Flew in late after working all day. Arrived and found out that the room I was told was on hold for me was changed from 5th fl to 3rd fl. I specifically requested 5th fl b/c the construction in this hotel is poor and you can hear the foot steps above. I need a quiet room and away from all elevators, ice machines, vending etc. I was annoyed but ok, then was sent by the front desk person to 3 more rooms, all by noise. Very angry, frustrated, etc and rather than apologize after this run-around I was told to "SHUT UP" by the front-desk person in a threatening manner. This kid was 1/2 my age, obviously looking for a fight, but rather than go for it, I decided to just take the last room offered and walked away. This was in front of the the maintenance guy, a nice gentleman who helplessly kept repeating "I'm sorry sir".

I complained to the front desk person and requested the General Manager to call me, leaving my phone #. I left several subsequent messages and still have not received a call.

We've stayed here twice now. Both times the staff went out of their way. Rooms are very clean & modern.

“Room not what promised”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2011

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Frisco for 3 nights and if I had not prepaid, I would not have stayed. I will not return. Before making reservations I called the hotel to verify that they had the type of room we needed. My husband is handicaped and has specific needs. I was specific about the room location, number of beds in the room and particulars about the bathroom. I was promised that they had rooms that fit my specifics and that they would hold a room so that we would be sure that a room that met out needs would be available. I made the reservation and then called the hotel again to verify and was assured everything was arranged. When we arrived, I was told that all the rooms that met my request we occupied (I had family go to check in at the earliest checkin time). The room that they had for us only met our specifics by the number of beds in the room. After returning to the front deck, I learned that they did not have ANY rooms that met our needs. Not only did they not do what they promised, they lied about having any rooms that met our needs.
They do not clean well because there was a shoe left from a previous guest. The shower leaked. The refregerator was iced over to the point the you could not close the freezer door.
In the restaurant you are allmost on your own. There is no one to seat you, or a sign to seat yourself. There is a single waitress for the entire restaurant. The food was OK.
The Hampton Inn is in the next block. Go there!

“pretty good overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2011

This is a nice and newly renovated (I think) hotel in Frisco. It is fairly close to a number of decent restaurants and is easy to get to from the Dallas Pkwy. As with most Holiday Inns, breakfast is not included in the room charge, but they do have a small restaurant on site. I preferef to go the Starbucks down the street :-). Internnet and parking are free, they have a small and an outdoor pool, and the rooms are nicley sized and comfortable.
