I held my room with one credit card, when I checked in, I told them NOT to charge the other card and gave her a new card. The front desk clerk assured me that she would make sure that the card I handed her would be the only card charged. Got home and looked at my bank acct. and realized that I was double charged. Called, they told me mgr. was not in. Called right back with a different "reason" and got the mgr. on the phone. The guy was a complete jerk and told me that HE owns the Holiday Inn. I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere and this guy was obviously not a smart guy. I after being put "on hold" (he was actually holding the phone covering it with his hand) for15 minutes, I told him that I was recording the conversation. He then changed his story about OWNING the hotel. When I asked for the phone number and proper person to ask for, he gave me a name and number. IT WAS HIS FRIEND!!! How un professional can you get??? I ended up calling the headquarters, the apologized and said they'd call me after speaking with him, they never did. But I did get my money back.
If you do venture to stay there, don't eat the breakfast! It's AWFUL, my kids couldn't even stomach it.
