“Nice staff, Typical HI Express”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2011

Stayed in Frisco for the Super Bowl. Exceptionally nice and friendly staff. I rarely stay at this type property, so I assume our room was typical for a HI Express. It was clean and simple, but very adequate. The City of Frisco itself was a nice find. Great variety of restaurants nearby and the town itself is new, vibrant and growing fast. Overall, better stay than I was expecting.

“Great shopping and dining!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2010

Located across the street from the Stonebrair Mall and the huge Stonebriar shopping center you will need to stay several nights to get all your shoping done! Check our Sam Moon's for jewelry and gifts, the mall and the shopping center for all your favorite stores. Hungry? Right next door is the Hacienda Ranch restaurant where you will find the best fajitas and mexican food EVER! Tons of other dining available in the area!

“Great place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2010

This hotel has great service and staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and neat. It was also quiet. My husband was there for a week and I stayed for a few days with him.
It is not an elegant hotel, but it is a nice place to stay.

“Charged Me twice!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 March 2010

I held my room with one credit card, when I checked in, I told them NOT to charge the other card and gave her a new card. The front desk clerk assured me that she would make sure that the card I handed her would be the only card charged. Got home and looked at my bank acct. and realized that I was double charged. Called, they told me mgr. was not in. Called right back with a different "reason" and got the mgr. on the phone. The guy was a complete jerk and told me that HE owns the Holiday Inn. I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere and this guy was obviously not a smart guy. I after being put "on hold" (he was actually holding the phone covering it with his hand) for15 minutes, I told him that I was recording the conversation. He then changed his story about OWNING the hotel. When I asked for the phone number and proper person to ask for, he gave me a name and number. IT WAS HIS FRIEND!!! How un professional can you get??? I ended up calling the headquarters, the apologized and said they'd call me after speaking with him, they never did. But I did get my money back.
If you do venture to stay there, don't eat the breakfast! It's AWFUL, my kids couldn't even stomach it.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 March 2010 via mobile

I had no choice but to stay here this past weekend and I was worried because the reviews on here were bad but there was no other hotel available. I stayed there and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great everyone was nice and were pleased to help me the housekeepers could use some english though! Great price also!
