We called hotel this while in Fredrickburg to reserve two rooms. and they only had two rooms left. First they would not take our card over the phone to hold/pay for the rooms. They also told us the hotel was with in walking distance from downtown and that they would only hold the rooms for 20 minutes. So instead of driving my husband walked there leaving in the middle of dinner...not within walking distance!! He got there 25 minutes after he spoke with them on the phone and they had already given one of the two rooms away and we had a party of 5 people traveling with us. We took the last room available anyway because were were planning on having some beers after dinner. We got back to the hotel around midnight after seeing a band and our room key did not work in the door! Of course there was no one on staff at the front desk or on the grounds and no way to get a hold of them, so we were out of luck. We had to drive two hours to get back to a friends house in the middle of the night. They refused to refund us the full room cost so we had to call corporate to get our money back because it was $180 for a room we couldn't even get into. Even corporate gave us a hard time. The staff was so extremely rude and unhelpful. This Quality Inn does not deserve your business or your hard earned money!! And a side note, I never go online and write reviews especially bad ones, but these guys were awful and I just received a nasty letter from them in the mail to telling us this whole ordeal was our fault!!???!
