Das Garten Haus is within walking distance of the Fredericksburg downtown area. I stayed there to some bike riding in the Teas Hill Country, and it's in a perfect location to just bike right from the doorway out. Comfortable room, and, as other have noted, an excellent breakfast (with time to visit with the other guests), and friendly hosts.

Das Garten Haus is a lovely B&B in a convenient location just a short walk from nearby Main St. The owners are friendly and hospitable. Breakfast at Das Garten Haus is beyond amazing. We had a delightful experience there and are already planning a return trip.

This B&B was amazing. It was a first time experience for my husband and I and we enjoyed it immensly. The breakfast was out of this world! I would have asked for seconds, but I was so full. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was very nice. Very clean, bed was soft and the sheets were fresh. In room refreshments were great after the drive in and I liked how close it was to the main strip without being noisy or crowded. The company was wonderful as well, and Lynn adn Kevin were a joy to talk to and get to know. We will be booking again before the end of the year.

We celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary this past weekend at the Garden Haus Bed & Breakfast in Fredricksburg Tx. We have never stayed there before and we found the location very close to town and all the shopping and site's. The upstairs suite we shared with another couple was very spacious and loved the kitchen and living area. Although we didn't stay home during the day much, it was very quiet and the bed linens were superb! The food was delicious, although my husband is a very picky eater I thought the dishes were equal to 5star hotel. Thanks Lynn & Kevin for making us feel at home!
