We had a wonderful weekend at the Bella Notte! We stayed in the Toscana suite and it was perfect! You can't beat the location. Downtown Fredericksburg is just a few steps away. The jacuzzi tub was very nice and the room was beautifully furnished. I agree with the previous poster, try the rather sweet bakery across the street.

The only potential drawback to the house is the possibility of noise from other guests. I could hear everything from the hallway in our room. Luckily we had the house to ourselves, but I don't know how quiet it would be if you didn't.

“Perfect house in fabulous location”

This historic 3 bedroom stone cottage is 1 block from Main St, and next door to the Lincoln St. Wine Bar! It has a treed backyard and vacant lot next door for lots of pretty outdoor scenery. A front porch with rocking chairs, and parking off the street in back. One suite rents 2 bedrooms together each with queen beds, and they share one bath that has an overhead rain shower above the jacuzzi tub.

The "master suite" has a brand new, tiled private bath with jacuzzi tub, antique dressing table, and wicker chaise. The beds are high 4-posters with expensive linens. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques with a European flair. Every room has a mini fridge, coffee and tea maker, dishes, and microwave. The house is perfectly clean. The BEST breakfast bakery I have ever been to (well, second only to the one in Marigot, St. Martin) is right across the street - Rather Sweet - you must taste the cinnamon rolls.
