Comfortable well appointed cottage (Friedrich), clean and cozy. Everything was in good working order (plenty of AC in TX heat) and bed comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts were a highlight and a great start to the day. Carol and Joe are stellar as hosts with a wealth of local information and offered excellent suggestions for restaurants and entertainment in the area. Will definitely return when my travels take me to Texas Hill Country.

We stayed in the Frederich cottage and were extremely pleased with our stay. Extremely private (hidden behind a hedge even from the proprietor's home), well stocked, and a very, very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were lovely and different both days, the owners were quite friendly, and we got to relax as long as we liked. We only had a few concerns with the cottage: the fans both clicked very loudly when turned on high and we're not sure the a/c was working totally properly since it felt far warmer than 70 when we tried to turn it down at night. Oh, and if you're not a morning person, making sure to be awake and dressed enough to be appropriate at 8:30 in the morning can be a tad frustrating. Two things it really had going for it in order for me to book there was that a two night stay was not required, and at 129.00 a night (weekday), it was far cheaper than the others in the area for the quality you received. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we'll recommend it to friends in the future!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Fredericksburg at the Cottages at Limestone. Joe and Carol were the best host and hostess to us. The cottage was perfect; Clean, cozy and convenient to the town; The homemade breakfast was delicious. We will be back; Highly recommended.

Joe and Carol are very hospitable; they gave us a history of Fredericksburg and provided suggestions for the weekends activities.
The breakfast was truly remarkable and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated being able to have our own cottage with breakfast brought to us for us to enjoy privately!
The full kitchen was nice especially for storing the wine we purchased.

Our first experience with a bed & breakfast and it was more than we imagined. Our cottage was cozy, comfortable and perfect in every way. Carol and Joe were perfect hosts with every detail taken care of and valuable information on local entertainment, shopping, restaurants, etc. Breakfast each morning was better than anything we had ever had anywhere. Healthy, tasty, beautifully plated and just fantastic. Did I mention delicious???? This weekend stay at Cottages at Limestone on Main was absolutely perfect. We will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
