I did not stay at this hotel, however I made reservations for two rooms three weeks prior to the Octoberfest weekend in Fredericksburg. I never received an e-mail confirmation, but I received a confirmation number from the manager at the desk for the reservations. Five days before my arrival I called again to cancel the both reservations and the young lady working nights at the counter took the confirmation number and assured me that the reservations were canceled. The night of my initial reservations came (Friday) and I saw a charge on my credit card for one room. I immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation to the same manager that booked the hotel and that the reservations were cancelled. He refused to believe I had cancelled the reservations, even though I was charged for just one room - not two and I proved that I had contacted the hotel 5 days prior. He did not want to entertain a refund for the room and I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I can only assume poor customer service and record keeping are part of this hotels normal business. I recommend not to make a reservation at this hotel - look elsewhere.

I rarely write reviews, so if I am...then it's something either extremely good...or extremely bad. This was the former. Great and friendly staff. Exceptionally clean area....inside and out! Even the parking lot was clean and well-kept. The staff even told me about the area which made me want to stay another day...but alas...the world traveler must go. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again in the future!!!

Convenient location from downtown Fredericksburg, friendly staff, and clean and restful Motel for a night or weekend. No frills, so you have extra money to spend on shopping, dining and touring the Hill Country.

While this is one of the better Motel 6 branches I've had the displeasure of staying at, that's still not saying much about the location and management. I had few qualms about the rooms; they were simple and fairly clean, smelling faintly musky. My issue was with the management. I don't take kindly to rude management, and they certainly were. Perhaps their crass, unfounded and inappropriate demeanor stemmed from a language barrier. Frankly, I don't care to return to find out. Too say there are better locations to stay when visiting Fredericksburg is an understatement.
