The Quality Inn Cattle Baron in Ft. Worth is a good hotel for the money. Room (king with sofa bed) was perfect for four. Nothing fancy, but clean and orderly. Full breakfast was good, with something for everyone. Sausage, eggs, hash browns, cereal, waffles, cereal etc. Even cinnamon buns that were made on site. Nice dining area with a Texas theme. Never had time to use the pool, but it looked clean. WiFi worked pretty good, a bit slow and got logged off a couple of times. The night manager (Malika?) was very polite and helpful. Only complaints would be that there were pictures (to be hung on the wall) tucked away under the curtain, the light to the bathroom is on the outside of the bathroom door, and it would have been nice to have a shear curtain under the black out curtain for some privacy during the day. But those are minor issues.

This is a gem of a place... with high praise for the kind of hotel service one hardly sees anymore. The managers and staff really care about customer satisfaction. Breakfast is wonderful... everything you could want from healthy to not-so-much (but all very tasty-- check out the waffles). We had three rooms for three nights -- myself plus five university students -- for a collegiate engineering competition. Hotel mangers were SUPER helpful when it came to storing (for one extra night) a large equipment box (which was picked up by a shipping company the day after we left). Nothing was too much trouble. As for the rooms themselves... renovations are underway. I stayed in one of the remodeled rooms... very nice, clean, large and comfortable.

We were here or a hairshow back in October & I have to say this was such a wonderful little hotel. Breakfast was great. Everything you could possibly want was served! Happy hour was good & the girls in the front desk were super helpful! Overall the experience was great! Quiet location, even after being filled with crazy hairstylist(hairshow) & cowboys(some kinda horse show).

p.s. Our instructors & others stayed at a high priced hotel & when the girls & I told them what Quality Inn, boy did they wish they were here!

Our first contact with the reservation staff (Debbie) was excellent. She was very warm and was extremely helpful. We got a great rate for a week stay. The rooms were decent and we were able to have our dog with us in the room. The only complaint we had was that the housekeeping staff did not replace items in the room as they were used. We stayed for over a week and had to ask several times for our soap to be replaced. We ran out of tissue, coffee, cups, etc and had to ask to have them replaced. Those items should have been replaced daily by the housekeeping staff. Other than that complaint the hotel was fine and was coveniently located off the freeway and 10 minutes from the Will Rogers Equestrian center.
