I’m a big fan of the Homewood Suites chain and a diamond Hilton member so I stay in them frequently. Sadly this location did not seem up to par with others I’ve stayed in. The staff was very nice and accommodating but the property itself seemed to me in need of a big update.

The rooms were standard 2 room suite, but some of the furniture seemed outdated, mismatched, and some of it scratched and nicked up. The bed was mostly comfortable however there was a strange red crinkly duvet cover that for me was itchy and uncomfortable. My room seemed a bit noisy – I could hear outside noise sand even with the bedroom door shut I could hear if someone was talking in the hall.

The amenities in the kitchenette were definitely lacking compared to other Homewood Suites I’ve stayed at. Most frustrating was that there was only 1 bowl but in additional there seemed to be a lack of the usual things provided.

I never ate the breakfast or evening meal so cannot comment on it but it appeared to be the typical fare.

The fitness center is tiny and has only 3 cardio machines (although they are updated with one tv each which is nice) and one of those all in one type machines, no free weights.

All in all it’s not a bad place to stay, I just think it could use some updating to compare to other properties in the chain. I’d come back if I were in the area for a few nights, but if I was on a long term assignment I might check the area for something else.

I took my husband and son and his wife and 2 small children to a race at the Texas Motor Speedway. I was reluctant to book at this hotel because it was right on the freeway (i.e., conveniently located) and I was concerned about the traffic noise. What a pleasant surprise we experienced! This hotel has quality double-paned windows and NO NOISE could be heard whatsoever from the busy traffic just outside our window. The walls of the hotel are very insulated and we could not hear our neighbors or their TV or even their small dog. The doors of each room have a closer that shuts the door softly so you don't hear doors slamming all night long. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and blankets were clean and freshly laundered. The bathroom was very roomy and well appointed. All of the rooms are 2-rooms (or more) suites with a full kitchen including a microwave, 2-burner stove, dishwasher, disposal, and refrigerator. Plus a free breakfast 7 days a week and dinner Monday-Thursday. We have stayed at fancier places and paid a LOT more money for them, but we have not been more comfortable or welcomed any more than we were here.

I can not find anything wrong with this hotel! We fell in love! This was our first stay at Homewod and all 4 of us quickly decided that it would be our hotel of choice! When they say "makes you feel like home"...they're not lying! The accomadations were clean and comfortable and we loved being there!!! Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!!

I stayed here for 4 months from the start of January. When I first got there I thought it was a bit secluded, but its really not. Its less than 10 mins into downtown Fort Worth, and there are lots of nice places to eat and drink very nearby.
The bed was huge and extremely comfy, and the rest of the suite was more than adequate for my needs.
The dinners were great, and the staff were more than happy to help out when I needed anything.
A big thank you to everyone at the hotel for making my stay so stress free. The biggest compliment I can give is that at no point did I feel like I was in a hotel, it felt like home.
