This hotel is your basic, and I mean BASIC, studio hotel with kitchens. The rooms are extremely small, so small that I had to take the closet doors off their tracks and lean them against the wall in order to keep my luggage from getting in the way of entering and exiting the room. Again, the rooms are VERY small.

Exterior entrances to all rooms, which I really dislike. The were laundry facilities on site, which was a perk. Lots of restaraunts in the area.

If you're looking for budget housing, then this is your best bet. Just don't expect high quality bedding. Bring your own hair dryer and toiletries!

Priceline gives this a 2-star rating, and I give it a 1-star. They gave us a smoking room, although we requested a non-smoking room, and the place was full of bugs. A friend of ours had a different room, and hers was WORSE. She said that her shower was open, so that when she took a shower the whole bathroom floor got wet. STAY AWAY

My wife and I stayed at the Homestead for 5 days while we were looking for apartments in Fort Worth for our relocation this Nov 2004. We got a package deal from expedia for a hotel and car. We did not find the rooms appealing at all. We did get a cheap price of less than $40 a day but we really weren't as happy as if we got a cheap hotel. There is no daily linen service; only once during our 4 days were they changed. None of the bathroom necessities of a regular hotel were provided except for the soap. The comforter was dirty on the underside and had cigarette holes burned. The girl at the front desk was willing to make us as happy as possible but she did realize that her attempts were limited.
Overall, if you just want a space to live in and do most of the apartment maintenance yourself then you would be ok. If you are accustomed to good hotels like us then I'm sure you would have a hard time. I have stayed at a Homestead in Miami a few years back and found it better so perhaps it was just this one Suite here in Fort Worth that was below the company's standard.

I lived at the Homestead Suites for over two months, when I sold my home and my new house wasn't ready. I loved the place, and always reserve a room here for out-of-town guests. The hotel is located outside of the downtown area, near the zoo, museums, and the Will Rogers Complex, where the annual Stock Show, numerous horse shows, and other events take place.

The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and has a friendly staff. Each unit has a full kitchen, large bathroom, cable TV, and lots of storage space. The units are compact, but well designed, with lots of storage space. At about $60 a night, it's a great deal. There are some larger rooms for a little more money, which have fold-out sofas for families.

The hotel is located on the banks of the Trinity River, across the street from a nice shopping center with several restaurants, a Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, and specialty shops. This is the best location in town, in my opinion, and is convenient to freeways and downtown.
