The staff was always friendly, they have a BBQ every Wednesday night with hot dogs and hamburgers. I was here for 2 months on business, any problems I had they fixed that day or in the AM the next. I brought my cat and it was no problem. If you are going to be there any longer you should upgrade to the 1 bedroom suite it looks and feels like an apartment. The kitchens have stovetops, full fridges, microwaves, toasters, and all cookware. Highspeed internet and cable with HBO. The area is very humid so I bought a airfreshner and then it was fine.

We just came back from a three night stay at Candlewood Suites at Fossil Creek in Forth Worth, Texas. This is an extended stay hotel, but we do not suggest that anyone stay for an extended visit! The rooms are in need of renovation. Our bathroom sink was not operational due to lack of water presure and the shower head leaked at its connection in the wall producing a daily flood. We requested that they be fixed at the front desk for three days and then just gave up! Also, since this is an extended stay there is literally no service. If your idea of a get away is emptying your garbage can at the end of the hall, this place is for you!

We stayed at the Candlewood for almost a week and upon arrival we reported a problem with the shower and a hole in the shower wall and nothing was done about it.

We also had to hunt the maids down for clean towels and had to empty our trash baskets each day.

For the price we paid, we could have stayed at a motel with daily maid service.

We travel a lot and we will not be staying here again.

We rented and paid for two rooms through hotwire, and upon arrival found that the rooms had been sold to others. We were sent to a nearby hotel which honored our reservations with Candlewood, but the whole episode was a time-consuming hassle. Beware!
