“Ok location/typcial hyatt place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

Cityview puts you 10 miles + from downtown. Plenty of dinning options with a car, and a few options to dine if you need to walk. Hyatt place is so new, all the rooms look alike ( which is good). Option 2 is the courtyard, right down the road, smaller TV but the do have a putt putt course by the pool. Enjoy fort worth

“Quite good with a few surprises”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

This hotel was average and decent, but there were a few surprises. In addition to shampoo, the hotel also offered complimentary toothpaste which I had not seen for years in most US hotels. I added one more star to this review because of this “perk.” There was nothing exciting on the breakfast buffet but I was happy to find freshly-cut fruit. The room was clean and spacious and equipped with a super-large TV. Sara at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

“Just right”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

So many hotels are trying to blend all the niceties we have come to enjoy when we travel, few have succeeded. We were pleasantly pleased with the Hyatt Place. Just enough lobby to feel at home, yet classy; just enough of a bar to get an evening cocktail without feeling like you are at a club; just enough restaurant without the overpowering wait-person; nice little breakfast; clean spacious rooms and quiet. It is now one of our favorite places to stay in Ft. Worth

“Noisy A C Unit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I stayed at the Hyatt Place City View on a business trip. The room was partitioned to have a sectional sofa on one side and then 2 queen beds on the other. That was fine, but the bathroom was VERY small with the vanity outside. You had to almost contort yourself to get in and out as the commode was just inches away from the door. The AC unit was very loud and it was difficult to get sleep with it coming on intermittently. The breakfast was so-so, not anything to get excited about .

“A bargain find - great rooms!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011 via mobile

We travel often to Fort Worth. Usually we stay at a very expensive downtown hotel and have stayed in equally expensive hotels near TCU. We stayed at the Hyatt Place last year when every hotel in the city was booked out. Now it is a top choice when we go to FW --and this was our 3rd stay. Why? Clean. Inexpensive. Well appointed rooms with huge flat screen tv, divided seating area and excellent computer connectivity and charging station in every room. It is very very convenient both to TCU and all the supply shopping you need for your student. (target, Costco, container store). Every large chain restaurant imaginable is close by. The staff is helpful but you need to be patient as this is not full service luxury. Confirm and reconfirm your late check in because they have a line of people waiting for a no show room to free up. Best to get that done at the 800 number where fluent English is assured. Breakfast ok but they have better food and coffee for sale. We will go back. It a bargain and we have always had a good experience.
