Spent two nights here during a road trip. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, bed was comfortable, everything was clean. We spent a few hours lazing by the pool, lots of loungers etc. and peaceful, even though it's not far from the highway. The hot tub was good. There's a McDonalds within walking distance, for other options it's a short drive to the main street. We liked Fort Stockton, there isn't a huge amount going on, but it has a nice feeling about it.

Was passing through on the way to Austin. Days Inn in Fort Stockton was the third cheapest option in town. Nice bed, nice shower, nice room. Very nice overall. Its not a 4 star hotel but then again its Fort Stockton. Skip the continental breakfast and go next door to McDonalds.

Traveling to the west coast w hubby and kitties, this was a pleasant surprise! if you are looking for a hotel which accommodates pets , but does not smell like it..(:...this is it!..It is right off the highway, easy on/off. we always choose the 2 smaller beds ...less expensive!. the rug's etc where clean, the room too. the breakfast was great-waffles, etc.We also had free wi/fi. we ate at K-Bob's Steakhouse" for dinner, which seemed packed by locals. The service was horrible, no smiles or 'howdie-a-do", the steak was pathetic! esp. for a 'steakhouse'..the bill was 42$..which inc 1 beer. It was so bad we did not leave a tip!...just head down away from the highway..there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Beautiful clean spacious room. Free internet and continental breakfast. Checked other hotels in the area and this was best price.
