Spent the night traveling from South Texas to Florida. Easiy accessible from Highway 59. Check in was excellent...desk clerk was extremely friendly, quick and very helpful. Went out of her way to give me a map of places to eat in El Campo. (By the way, the Uptown Grill was good...another place that looked like it would be good as well was the Firehouse Grill). Breakfast was OK (no waffle maker) but fairly adequate. The breakfast area was clean. Checkout was painless. The only point that could have improved my visit was if the room refrigerator would have been on and cool when we arrived. Outdoor facade was clean and the parking lot was very tidy. Would stay there again!
