Let's start with the shuttle , the shuttle driver was from Chicago and we (( me and my friend )) had to listen to him all the way from luv field to the hotel ... At the fourth day we decided to go to buffalo wings in Dallas down town , we got in the van and then I was really shocked we he got a call he said well I wanna go to CVS with a another person then I can take us after or whenever he gets back We felt like we're a second degree citizen , at the last day a other shuttle driver he had to stop at the stop sign but he pull out without paying attention of a car getting so close to us ... That was awful ... 2ndly the front desk she was very helpfull I asked for a microwave and small fridge , that was so fast and honestly free , location : was rite in front of high was or one of the busiest highways ... Stores and rest. Near by : found an Italian rest. One min. Away , store around 4 mins walking ... Indoor rest . I had a meal I felt sick for 1 day vomitting and etc. I had to eat out side thou . House keeping : was okay can't complain ... And finally my mattress was broken so I cldn't sleep on no.

“Booked here with a wedding block”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We stayed here as part of a wedding block.

We stayed 3 nights. It was noted immediately that our room was HOT. We thought it was just the sun shining on the building and sucked it up. However, the next day when we were in the room for a longer amount of time we realized our air wasn't working properly. We got prompt response from the front desk and our maintenance man Jose was SO nice and professional. Once they realized the fix wasn't simple, they moved our room and threw in a complimentary breakfast for our inconvience.

The hotel has Sleep Number beds. Maybe we weren't using them correctly, but we found them to be UNCOMFORTABLE. We'd start at one number going to bed and wake up at another.

The darkening shades were AMAZING, kept the sunlight out when needed.

Overall a good stay, within walking distance of a nice shopping center (Mockingbird Station).

“What a warm welcome and friendly stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed at the Dallas Radisson Central for three nights and the friendlyness of Texas here is really honoured daily. With excellent service, perfect dining advice, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Pillows on the bed, 2 small and 2 large and individually adjustable matresses by some magic electronic device makes one want to sleep earlier as planned. Asking for a breakfast cafe where you can have a broad variety of morning stuff the recommendation was perfect. Though the hotel American breakfast buffet for around 12 USD was also rich, succulant with strawberries, grapefruite slices, pineaplle pieces and 4 different melons, all nicely arranged and cut into just-in-the-mouth-pieces. Everything works for the benefit of the guests. Most motivated staff with no exemption. Will never stay anywhere else in Dallas near midtown and free parking.

“OK Hotel, Excellent Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Very conveniently located on northbound Central Expressway (Hwy 75). Even with rush hour traffic less than 15 minutes to downtown, the World Trade Center complex, Children's Hospital complex, University Park, Love Field, City Place, etc. A great variety of restaurants are a few minutes away on Lemmon and Oak Lawn Avenues. While well-located, not a place I would stay were I without personal transportation unless I had business in the immediate (read virtually next door) vicinity. I do not know what (if any) transportation services are provided.

The rooms with select-comfort beds are comfortable, reasonably attractive and well-equipped with especially large televisions for a hotel. The heating/cooling unit in our room was quite loud--even at low speed.

The breakfast buffet (extra cost) is quite good. We did not eat dinner at the reastaurant for this visit as we were rather unimpressed during earlier stays at the hotel. Acceptable, but better available at similar or less cost in the general vicinity.

Room Tip: If you are especially troubled by noise, request a room towards the rear as there is some highway ro...

Your feedback is extremely appreciated as we rely on our guests to spread the word for our Property. I did notice that you were unsure about our transportation abilities so I wanted to let you know that we do provide Complimentary Shuttle Service anywhere within a 5 mile radius. This service is of course based on availability, however, you can schedule a trip when you check in and it will be waiting for you when you need to leave. Thank you once more for your comments and we look forward to your next visit.

“Great Hotel in Dallas!!! 4 miles from Downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Being only 4 miles away from downtown Dallas (right off of route 75), The Radisson Hotel Dallas Central-University Park was situated in a much better location than our original hotel was, so getting to and from the city was a breeze.

After parking at the hotel (which is free by the way) and entering, we loved the marble and spacious lobby of the hotel. There is a also a very large hotel lobby bar/restaurant area with plenty of tables and comfy lounge chairs.

At check-in, the lady at front desk saw that I had elite status with Club Carlson and told us she had upgraded our room. After entering the room, it did not seem like it was upgraded; I was thinking we'd be upgraded to a suite, but it was still a standard room on a high floor with two queen size beds that we'd originally booked (maybe a high floor is an upgrade? She didn't exactly specify).

Either way, I was very impressed with the room. As you can see from the pictures below, the decor is more exquisite than a standard hotel room, garnished with a warm, rich, color palette and topped with some elegant touches (I loved the desk chairs).

After spending a few hours exploring downtown Dallas with a good friend of mine that recently moved from NJ to Dallas for work, we decided to call it an early night because we were exhausted from all of the driving. We had a good night's sleep and were happy that the our room was very quiet and comfortable.
We had two queen sized Sleep Number beds with super fluffy pillows and a soft duvet.

The bathroom and sink area were very spacious. I loved that they had a magnifying mirror, which was perfect for applying makeup!

The shower was basic, but clean, with plenty of hot water.

The bath toiletries in the room were Radisson's signature Asira line of products.

The coffee machine was located on a separate nook (with a refrigerator underneath).

I really liked the pizazz decor of the room. This corner desk was big enough to comfortably work.
