The hotel is in a safe location from what I could tell. There was a security guard parked in the lot on saturday night when we arrived. The hotel was new and was a typical quality La Quinta. The free breakfast was good as it is at other La Quintas (kolaches, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal . . .). The only complaint that I had was not with the staff. The doors are angled towards each other and seem to transmit a lot of noise when being closed. Of course it didn't help that I had someone with possibly a psychological disorder that was leaving and entering his room every 15 minutes during the night. While in his room he would yell profanities and would storm out of his room periodically and let the door slam shut (the doors close very hard). I asked to be given a different room, but the clerk called the man and asked that he calm down. Well he did calm down somewhat but he still kept me up for another 30 minutes. I finally fell asleep and asked to moved again to a different floor and the staff obliged - thankfully. We stayed for 5 consecutive nights and all other nights were fine.

Hotel was booked on weekend of Texas - Oklahoma football game and their fans filled the hotel but were not noisy at all. We booked the king suite which was very roomy with comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, quiet and clean. Breakfast was as described in other reviews and varied. Hotel access was easy due to location; staff were courteous and helpful. We visited with relatives in the large suite which was very accommodating for that purpose. Wi-Fi was useful in our room. We had a quiet comfortable night's sleep. What more could we ask? Well, maybe some luggage racks for suitcases...

I had a two week stay for business and stayed here. I was travelling with my dog (an 80 lb golden), and this hotel was perfect. It was less than a mile from work, were very accomodating, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rates were exceptional, and I even had a suite. My only complaint is that there is no freezer section on the mini-fridge, the coffee pot is a small size one, and there is no wireless internet, only wired. There was ample area to walk my dog, the area is safe and pleasant, and the hotel is quite clean and very quiet. Some minor issues- there was evidently a drink spilled with stickiness under the television in the bedroom, but it was hidden, so housekeeping wouldn't have seen it. Front desk service was great- I needed new remotes for the tvs, neither worked, and I didn't have an ethernet cable with me, and I had both in hand within ten minutes of calling the front desk. This is not luxurious accomodations, but it is exactly what is needed for a business trip.

This La Quinta was soo clean. All the furniture looked new. There was no "hotel smell". The desk person was nice. The free internet was great. The continental breakfast was healthy-not just muffins and juice. There was a waffle station. The breakfast included cereal, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, muffins, juice, milk, coffee, fruit, kolaches. It is next to interstate 75 so there is freeway noise but nothing that would disturb your sleep and nothing that earplugs couldn't block out. It is less than 10 minutes from a shopping mall (Dillards, Macys, Nordstroms) and a variety of restaurants for all price ranges. I would highly recommend this La Quinta.
