La Quinta...spanish for.."you get what you pay for". Prior to booking a room for our apartment hunting trip, I called and spoke with them about the free internet. They said I wouldn't need to purchase an ethernet cable as they would be available and provided at no charge. I really needed access to my computer the day we arrived, but they told me they ran out of cables because people kept stealing them. The staff told me they would find one for us "no problem". Later that evening I spoke with them again and told them how important it was to me. They told me they couldn't do anything about it, and that it "wasn't their problem". I gave up and decided to go to bed and speak with the manager in the morning.
Somehow through the night I managed to contract pink eye. Now I'm not saying I'm 100% sure that it came from my bed linens. However, I went to bed without any problems and I woke up with a swollen, bright red, itchy case of pink-eye.

This is my 5th time to stay at this property and I cannot say enough good things about it: Friendly Staff, Great breakfast, excellent location, comfy beds, and clean, contemporary decor!

We just spent a weekend in Dallas and stayed at this hotel. I was very pleased. The location is great (right on HW 75, a few miles south of I-635) and accessible to just about everything: downtown, malls, resturants, Love Field, and a 20 minute or so drive to DFW. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I would request the king rooms/suites as they have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The double rooms have 2 full size beds (which seem tiny when you're used to a queen). Pets are allowed with no deposit or extra fee, which was great for us since my yorkie is pretty much my child. They serve a continental breakfast which had plenty to choose from, waffles, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, etc. Pool was open til midnight. When I return to Dallas on a weekend trip I will definitely consider staying here.

As a frequent visitor to Dallas, I've stayed at a number of hotels for the sake of variety, but keep coming back to this La Quinta because there are never any surprises.

This hotel is well located, right off highway 75, about one mile south of the 635 interchange, and is in close proximity to grocery stores, malls, and restaurants.

The facility is fairly new, the lobby is large and airy, and the rooms are clean and spacious - the king rooms have a larger work surface, but I usually stay in the double rooms becuase they are cheaper. The big plus for me is that every room has high speed internet (no charge) right on the desk; if you don't have a cable, be sure to ask for one at the front desk. Request a room on the non-highway side of the building if you want complete quiet.

No complaints about this hotel - it is no vacation resort, but it is a functional, convenient hotel, and probably the only place I'll be staying at in Dallas going forward.
