Like other LQs I have stayed at, this was not very modern top. Seemed like they were up there on the bar as far as bedding an all go but still it lacked something to give that modern look may be wall was white that's why i don't know. The staff was slow but helpful enough. There rooms were very clean.LCD was great to watch the soccer game. Quite happy for the price I paid in a area where other wanted 100+ bucks.

This hotel is right on the edge of Downtown Dallas in the uptown area. One of only two hotels in the immediate area. It is an old hotel, but they have done a fairly good job of keeping the rooms up to date and clean. The bed was comfortable too. The outside of the hotel, although they have worked on it, is really showing signs of age. The staff was very friendly. Hotel is right on the freeway and right down the street frome some popular night spots so it is very noisy. I stayed here with a group and the hotel is suitable if you need to stay close to this area, but I would not choose to stay here again.

We spent four nights here over the Christmas holiday and have no complaints. We were visiting family in this area and found this to be a good place to spend the night (our days we spent visiting). The front desk was helpful and check-in was fast--they gave us a room on the back, away from the highway as we had requested. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We were more than happy to comply with no service for Christmas Day, in fact we had requested it before they left a notice in the room---everyone needs time off for family then.

Clean rooms, the bathroom is small but adequate. The wi-fi was good. Breakfast was what we'd consider minimal but there is a Denny's in the parking lot, how are you going to compete with that?

The property is the oldest of the La Quinta chain we've stayed in and we would rate it only as average but this is no reflection on the staff or management. Sometimes you want more, we didn’t---this was exactly what we needed, a place to come and get a good night's sleep.

We stayed here because the hotel would accept dogs with minimal expense.
The location is great but there were several issues.
The rooms on the freeway side (front) of the hotel are not as well insulated from the street noise as they might be. The room, while large, was somewhat dated but we expected that in a lower cost facility.
The breakfast room was very nice and the food was good but limited.
