Stayed at this hotel on January 5, 6, 2012 and was upgraded to a suite, room 622. If this is the same toilet paper used in all Texas Holiday Inns, then it gives a whole new meaning to "rawhide". Be sure to pack your own from home. You might also want to bring a tool kit to repair the sliding glass door of the bathroom shower. The door fell off when I was talking a shower. The facillity could definitely uses some TLC.

I stay here often and it is well located, usually clean, rooms are comfortable, has nice bar/tv area, good fitness room and a good breakfast. you'll pay for the breakfast but it is good, omlett bar, fruit, meats, etc....

We have been staing at this older Hotel for years and although showing its age the rooms are comfortable (just ask for the FEATHURE PILLOWS)The standard pillows are terrible.

The restaurant is one of the best you will find in any Hioliday inn Hotel. The management is
absolutely the best and they truly care .

I booked my room through hotwire and got a great deal, but didn't really know where the hotel would be but it said it was close to the location I needed. I guess I should have checked into that a little more. I did not feel unsafe and the room was clean and staff was nice. But on the last night of my stay my car was broken into. Although that is not the hotel's fault, there are no security cameras in the parking lot. The damage to my car and the personal loss more than makes up the money I saved booking through hotwire. Not a good experience for us. It is a shame because it is a nice hotel. Just needs security and cameras because of it's location.
